Music at UU Tampa
Raise Your Voice
Music is an important part of worship and community at UU Tampa. Our choir brings members and newcomers together to make joyful music, explore a wide variety of traditions, and enrich our services through song.
Everyone Is welcome
Our choir is made up entirely of members and newcomers who enjoy making joyful music together. You don’t need years of singing experience (or any choir experience at all) to join us. Music Director James Hemphill welcomes new singers and will help you feel at home in the group.
The choir is part of worship several times each month, performing music drawn from many traditions and styles. In keeping with Unitarian Universalism itself, there’s no single kind of music that defines us.
Come Sing With Us
Curious about joining? Stay after a Sunday service and sing with us. Whether you’re an experienced singer or someone who simply loves music, you’re welcome to give it a try.
