When you start attending our services, you soon find out how important music is to the UU Tampa members.
One of the most interesting aspects of Unitarian Universalism is the variety of music that can be performed during worship. Many of the hymns are adapted from traditional Christian denominations, but many are from other traditions as well. There is no limit to what we can use to express ourselves.
Our wonderful choir is part of our services several times a month.
Our choir is entirely made up of members and newcomers who enjoy making joyful music. Every one of them would love to see you join with them.

If you have lots of experiencing singing or no experience at all, you are invited to come to the choir rehearsals. Our professional Music Director, James Hemphill, is always looking for more singers… and he will help you feel a valued part of the group very quickly.
Feel free to come up and speak with James after our services. He usually plays the piano for all the service music.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 in the Large Dome.
